What is my Favorites List and how is it different from my Shopping Cart?
Your Favorites List contains products that you select from our product catalog to make your own personal mini-catalog of items that you purchase often. This saves you considerable time, as you will not need to search for frequently purchased items every time you access our product catalog. Instead, you can simply access your Favorites List and add the items to your cart directly!
Your Shopping Cart is where you place the items you wish to buy while shopping at Pitman. You can choose to add these items to your Favorites List, but we will not add them automatically. Your Shopping Cart is simply a tool to hold your items for purchase.

How can I add items to my Favorites List?
To add an item to your Favorites List:
- Log in to your user account (email address and password)*
- Search for the item in the product catalog.
- On the Search Results page, click the checkmark in the column labeled "Add to My Favorites List" to the right of the items name. Click on the Continue Shopping button to return to your search results.
Repeat this process with as many products as you wish to add to your Favorites List. The system will automatically save your changes.

Once I have created my Favorites List, how can I access it and make future purchases?
Once you have added items to your Favorites List, it is simple and easy to use!
- Log in to your user account (email address and password)*
- When your account information appears, click on the My Shopping List link in the sidebar of the Pitman Web Store home page. Your Favorites List will appear on your screen.
- Enter the quantity of the time you wish to purchase in the appropriate column and click the ADD TO ORDER button to add the item(s) to your shopping cart.
- From this point you can choose to add another item from your Favorites List to your shopping cart, search for additional products in the catalog, etc. and check out as you normally would.

How can I remove items from my Favorites List?
To remove an item from your Favorites List:
- Log in to your user account (email address and password)*.
- When your account information appears, click on your Favorites List link in the sidebar of the Pitman Web Store home page. Your Favorites List will appear on your screen.
- Click to the left of the items name in the column labeled "Remove Item".
- The system will automatically save your change.
Repeat this process with as many products as you wish to remove from your Favorites List. The system will automatically update your list.

How are shipping charges to be determined?
Shipping via ground service is available for all items. 2 day and overnight service is available on certain items. The cost is determined by the weight of the item and packaging. The cut off time for placement of 2 day or overnight orders varies by product.

Do you charge sales tax?
State law requires us to charge sales tax on all orders unless the proper resale information has been submitted.

Can I have an order shipped overseas?
Currently we do not ship overseas. At this time Pitman can only ship to addresses in the 50 United States plus the District of Columbia.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. We only ship to residential or business addresses.

How do I return something?
In order to return an item you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for each different product. If you buy, and are returning two or more of the same product you may use the same RMA number for those items. You may obtain an RMA number by calling customer service at 1.888.274.8626.

What browser should I use?
For PC Users...
We recommend you use a 4.0 (or greater) version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), Netscape Navigator/ Communicator, or AOL when viewing our site. We do, however, support version 3.5 and greater browsers, in most instances.
If your browser is less than a 3.5 version, you may encounter compatibility problems. We recommend that you upgrade your software to maximize your Pitman experience. Microsoft, Netscape, and AOL offer browser updates as downloads on their respective websites.
In addition to an appropriate browser version, you will also need to have JavaScript, cookies, and forms enabled to place orders or log in to certain areas of our site.
For Mac Users...
If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), we recommend you use version 4.5 (or greater). If you use Netscape, we recommend that you use version 4.6 specifically.

Why do items drop out of my shopping cart?
In order to use the shopping cart, you must have cookies enabled for your browser. Cookies include your computer identity and login information. When cookies are disabled, your information is not carried forward from page to page and any information you entered is lost with each page change. Follow the instructions below for enabling cookies within your browser.
