Paul (Peter) F. Schmidt, Jr.
Chairman of the Board/CEO
   
As Chairman of the Board/CEO, Peter is the third family member to lead the company since it was established in 1906.

Peter has a BS from Carroll College. He joined the Pitman Company in 1972 and has served as Sales Representative, Assistant Branch Manager of the Chicago Branch, National Product Manager, Assistant to the Chairman of the
Board, and Vice Chairman

Joseph A. Demharter
President

 
In his capacity as President, Joe Demharter is responsible for directing the overall sales activities of the company and for providing leadership toward achieving the company’s goals of growing profitable, new business in the various markets it serves.

Joe joined the company in 1992. His most recent responsibilities included establishing the digital imaging business for the company. He has held the positions of Vice President, Digital Imaging, Electronic Imaging Manager and Northeast Region Sales Manager. His prior industry experience includes 22 years with DuPont Printing and Publishing in sales and sales management. Joe is a graduate of West Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Printing Management.

John Eichner
Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer
 
John Eichner is responsible for all financial aspects of the Pitman Company, including financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, banking relationships, employee benefit plans, budgeting, taxes and insurance.

John began his employment with Pitman in 1990, having previously worked as a Senior Manager for KPMG Peat Marwick

John is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY

Marketing and New Business Development

 

Steve Raboin is responsible for leading Pitman's division initiatives, marketing, Pitman professional services and new business development.

Steve has previously served as Vice President, Division Sales and Operations with the responsiblity for managing Pitman's divisions.His previous work experience includes 21 years with Agfa Corporation, where he held several sales management assignments. His most recent position at Agfa was as Director of National Accounts and Newspaper Sales.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston College in 1977.

Peter Moore manages all aspects concerning the company's sales at the District level. He began his career with Pitman in 1991 and has held various positions within the company such as Sales Manager, Branch Manager, District Manager and most recently, Vice President/Regional Manager. Peter's previous employment consisted of positions with Agfa and 3M Company.

Peter is a graduate of Villanova University.

Jim Sause

Operations

As Executive Vice President of Operations, Jim is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Pitman Comany including logistics, warehousing, purchasing, customer service, etc. He is also responsible for the development and implementation of all strategies specific to the management of operations. Jim has held other positions within the company such as Totowa Operations Manager and Regional Operations Manager-Northeast.

Jim earned his Bachelor of Science degree from St. John's University.

Corporate Controller

As Corporate Controller, Paul is responsible for monthly financial reporting, general ledger, GECC reporting and compliance, company audits, budgets, taxes and account analysis.

Paul began his career with Pitman in 1994, holding various positions as Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, and most recently Assistant Controller. His previous employment consisted of positions at Dupont Imaging Systems and Johnson & Higgins Insurance Brokerage.

Paul is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

National Accounts
 

As Vice President-National Accounts, Brad Brown is responsible for leading the National Account divisional sales and administration functions and personnel.

Joining Pitman in 1996 as a National Account Manager, Brad accepted divisional responsibility in 2001. His previous employment included 10 years with Agfa Corporation in local and national sales, as well as production and management positions with several printing firms.

Brad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Print Management from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green Ohio in 1981.

Procurement and Vendor Development

As Vice President of Procurement and Vendor Development, Barry Budwit leads Pitman's efforts in establishing new and important growth initiatives, and he will take a leadership role in contract negotiations with Pitman's suppliers 

Barry started with Pitman in 1981 and has been involved in many aspects of Pitman's business. He began his career in Operations, then successfully served as Branch Manager in New England for 16 years. He has been involved in many corporate initiatives, including the development of Pitman's Wide Format Graphics Division.


Dwight Collier

Pressroom Division

As Vice President-Pressroom Division, Dwight Collier's responsiblities include sales, customer service and technical support for National Accounts (Pressroom Solutions); Division Manager (Pressroom Products); directing the technical sales approach to increasing sales in Pressroom Products through the management of the Regional Pressroom Sales Specialists as well as managing Pitman's Brand product portfolio.

Dwight, who joined Pitman in 1996 as a Computer-to-Plate Specialist, has held various positions within Pitman related to Pressroom. His previous employment has included positions with Hoechst Celanese as a Technical Sales Representative, Technical Manager and most recently, Technical Sales Manager.

A graduate of East Carolina University, Dwight has a Master of Arts in Education Degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology.

John L. Cunningham

Corporate Operations

John Cunningham is responsible for many of the Corporate Operations of the Pitman Company including Inventory Management, Facility Management, Development of Corporate Purchasing Programs, Electronic Pricing and Product Updates.

John began his career with Pitman in 1972 and has held various positions within the branch operations before moving to Corporate. Prior to Pitman, John worked for NCR Corporation as a programmer for their distribution software and was responsible for the Pitman Company.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from Rutgers University

Larry D'Amico
Vice President
Digital Imaging Sales

Larry D'Amico joined Pitman Company in early 1994 to manage electronic system sales in the Northeast. Now called digital imaging, this market category represents a rapidly growing and highly successful segment of the company’s overall sales effort.

In his current position as Vice President/ Digital Imaging, Larry is responsible for directing the overall digital imaging sales activities of the company, the selection of manufacturers to be represented, the ongoing development of product lines and the selection and development of digital imaging personnel. Prior to coming Vice President/Digital he was National Sales Manager - Digital Imaging.

Larry's background includes positions as a District Manager and Sales Representative for Linotype-Hell and as a Technical Sales Representative for Eastman Kodak.

Larry graduated from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Eileen Mezzo
Vice President-Finance
Corporate and Credit

 
Eileen Mezzo is responsible for the overall Credit & Collections matters of the company. Among other important duties, she is charged with developing, then overseeing new business policies and procedures, leasing relationships, and the financial reporting associated with these activities.

Eileen began her career with Pitman in 1990 as Credit Manager of the Totowa Branch. She was promoted to Corporate Credit Manager in September 1999, and named Vice President - Finance & Corporate Credit in May 2001.

Before coming to Pitman, Eileen's previous work experience included approximately 17 years in the field of credit and finance.

Eileen graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology & Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her major was Computer Science with a minor in Finance
Eileen Mezzo
Joe Eichner
Vice President
Corporate Controller

As Corporate Controller, Joe Eichner is responsible for employee benefit programs, employee health and welfare programs, federal/state income taxes, insurance and financial reporting.

Joe began his employment with Pitman in 2001, having previously worked as a Vice President for Ambac Financial Group and as a manager for KPMG.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University.

Joe Milici began his career with Pitman in 1986 in the credit and collections department. He gained experience in many other areas during his eight years in branch operations including Customer Service Manager. He was advanced onto the corporate IT division in 1994 to assist in the centralization of the Pitman Computer/ERP Systems and assumed the position of VP of IT in September of 1999. His current responsibilities encompass the entire IT infrastructure and all related technologies.

Joe belongs to several User Groups in the IT industry and holds a Masters Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from William Paterson University. Joe has also received numerous certificates for continuing education from AT&T, Progress Software, Hewlett Packard and Chubb Institute.

Larry Salomon

Wide Format Division
 
 

Larry Salomon is responsible for leading Pitman’s Wide Format Division. Larry works with the sales and marketing organizations, as well as all other departments at Pitman, to drive sales growth through product, application and customer training and focus. Wide Format is a rapidly growing part of the overall printing and imaging world.

In his most recent position with Pitman, Larry was Vice President of Sales, Charrette Division of Pitman. Pitman acquired Charrette in 2006 where Larry served as the Vice President of Sales from 1997 until 2006. Larry has spent his entire career focused on the Wide Format Imaging business in various sales, management and executive positions.

Larry earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Temple University in 1986.
